What Apollo IsApollo is a project-based class. A combination of Art, English, and History. Where you are to do one project for all three. You however must have representation of each class and you are to use your skills you learn within the class on your project. You do four projects for each semester and are graded individually for each one. However you can choose what You want to learn in the class, set by your own schedule You make, you are to follow the learning guidelines your teachers give you other than that its mostly self-paced learning done yourself.

Why I Joined ApolloIt was the summer before 8th grade when my mother informed me of Apollo, telling me how it would be a great idea for me to join the class and see what I could really do in school. Afterwards I began to constantly think about how wonderful it would be to experience learning in a way were I get to choose what I want to learn. I had listened to people tell me about Apollo and how I shouldn't take the class as it would be too much for me, but after starting the class I realized how much of an opportunity it gave me to explore my interests and learn what I want to learn. Apollo is a great way for me to learn more about myself and for others to learn more about themselves too.

What My Goal Is In ApolloApollo gives me the chance to learn what I want to learn, whether it be about something I would like to pursue as a career or just a topic I'm very invested in. For example I would like to pursue a future career in the nursing system, I could do multiple projects into that topic. However my main goal in Apollo is to be able to research and learn things I want to learn about, and to be able to create projects based on my interests solely.
